This enterprising little Wood Mouse seemed to have worked out that it was safe from larger predators in the bird protector ground feeder in the garden, even in broad daylight, and if some sharp-beaked Starling managed to squeeze its way in, the mouse could retreat under the feeder until the danger had passed.
