Top Dog

We met up with Barbara and her Dandy Dinmonts this morning at the Scottish dog show out at Ingliston; terriers and hounds today. This great looking Irish wolfhound won best hound. Fancied a wolfhound puppy as well for 'best hound puppy' but it was nowhere, trounced by a whippet! How the judges manage to decide between so many different breeds is a mystery to me.

Barbara won 'Reserve dog' (or something
like that) with Jefferson and seemed pretty happy with that. Hope she's still happy in her camper van tonight - it was perishing out there! We made the mistake of dressing for May instead of December.
