How often have you used the excuse:”I will get “a round tuit’ especially over some tiresome domestic task?
 
Well, wood carver Brian Morris, age 84, decided to make a series of coasters based on “A Round Tuit”.
 
I met him this morning at the Bridge of Allan Curling Club coffee morning.
Brian decided on his retirement some twenty years ago from his job as a chartered engineer to turn his hobby of wood carving into a second career. And he has not looked back.
 
Which all goes to prove that you are as old as you feel, or as another octogenarian curler said to me: “If you think you are old then you are old.”
