Orford Ness

It had been a while since I winch towed, about five years in fact, but everything seemed to line up as a good opportunity to get back into it again.  Well, apart from the wind :-)

I unfortunately failed in my duties as wind dummy and instead of reporting back seemed to land some distance away at the seaside.

Orford Ness was my declared goal and stunningly beautiful from the air; the video captures of course fail to do it any justice.  The turquoise colours of the waters, the fractal shapes of the marshes and coastline, and cloud shadows on the sea more than made up for the short trip it is to the coast.  Especially with a sizeable tailwind, although that's not to say it wasn't tricky in parts.
