Steak and ale pie

Today I decided to make my first ever pie - steak, ale, and lots of mushrooms. We had to shorten a few steps, and Jonty ate most of the mushrooms before they went into the pie, but it still tasted lovely! We made two pies and five of us managed to get through one and a half of them. Then we played a game before everyone headed home. No doubt we will be having pie for lunch tomorrow...
