Pleading......

There was not much I could do to help this poor little bird.  I was driving down the street and saw the cat crouching over the bird, taunting and teasing it. I think it probably had fallen from a nest nearby.
I stopped and took a shot with my zoom lens. When I turned to get out of the car, they were both gone!
It made my sad, but I know it's the way it is in the animal kingdom. :(
