Meadowfoam

Another of the crazy-colored fields of spring in the Willamette Valley, this one meadowfoam. We've heard it's used for cosmetic purposes. I don't know, but it certainly smells ambrosial.

Note: A couple of weeks ago, I mistakenly identified a yellow field as domestic mustard, when in fact it is canola, a somewhat controversial crop due to its potential to crossbreed and contaminate other crops. That's about all I know about that.
