Solace Adventure Day 1

Well here we are at the Great Haywood marina ready for an adventure! I'm with The Man, katkatkat, G her partner, The Best Mate and Ash the dog.

The journey down wasn't good as we were held up in traffic queues near Stoke on Trent to the point of the Land Rover overheating. Both cars pulled off the motorway and made the rest of the journey by road. 

We arrived at the marina by about 2pm and were underway in the narrowboat, Solace, by 3pm.

This is the life!
