Meringue Mountain

We ventured to the Great British Food Festival today.

We didn't particularly feel in the mood, but it is all too easy to sit and mope. We had tickets, so we went. Splendid setting of Walton Hall, the sun came out and as well as lots of weird and wonderful food samples there were some good bands playing. Very lovely garden party atmosphere in lovely surroundings.

We were very tempted by the meringues, but having already indulged in milk and white chocolate coated honeycombe, crepes and scones it would have been very greedy.

A lovely day really.
