Hampshire Holloway in May

You might recall that I photographed this holloway on Boxing Day.  Today I returned and it was quite a different scene.  The morning sun shining brightly at the end of the tunnel and filtering through the fresh green spring foliage.  I followed the lane up to the church, the bells ringing out over the bird song for the morning service. I stopped and looked out over the fields and woodland, to Selbourne Hill in the distance, to image the people that must have walked these paths from the village to church over the centuries,   The peacefulness in the sunshine, really did feel like perfection.  A close-up shot of the holloway and the church as 'extra photos'.
