Zebra Jumping Spider - 8mm

This Spider jumped onto my door-frame this morning and stood still long enough for me to get a decent capture. You will see he has a leg missing on his right-hand side - probably miscalculated a jump one time!  They are usually seen from Spring through to Autumn and can be found on external walls, as well as indoors where they will enter through open doors and windows.  They are more likely to flee from humans than attack them, but they can bite - although the venom is not considered medically threatening.
