Royal Meeting

Bob The Builder has given up his building job at home temporarily ( I hope) to do some paid work. So today was the last day leading a cycle tour. They cycled over the Forth Road Bridge and in to Edinburgh up to the Castle and then down to Holyrood for lunch in the cafe. A great way to end a Scottish tour which started in Inverness and took in Balmoral and St Andrews.
So our job was to pick up the Guide as he signed off. We just caught the rest of the group before they headed off to their various homes in England, Canada and USA. They had clearly had a great week and it was nice for us to meet the clients, rather than just hear a few stories about them!
Sadly we missed lunch in the cafe but will go back as it does look excellent. We poked our noses in the Queens Gallery which I have never visited before. This is a fabulous building - designed and refurbished by friends of us, so it made us feel slightly closer to it! And I must say, they did a darned good job!
