Story Time

As I had planned some gardening today I popped down to the castle for a quick blip as I knew that a Medieval re-enactment group were demonstrating every day life there.

A large group of bikers " of a certain age" arrived and looked around. I thought that it was rather nice that some of them sat eating their sandwiches amongst the children while listening to the storyteller.

Last night I went to a ceilidh, it made a change to dance rather than play! It was in aid of the Nepal earthquake victims and the hall was packed - amazing as there appeared to be no publicity, just word of mouth. Over £1000 was raised. It would have been a lot more but they ran out of raffle tickets!
