Two celebrations in one...

Double Celebration

As well as the Queens Diamond Jubilee, today is also my birthday (not giving away the age!)

Mr. & Mrs. R. hosted a party at their place this afternoon for close friends.

Generally camera shy, Mr. M . and I dressed up a little for the occasion which made a really good impact at the party and also a good blip for today.
A fantastic party - time for a rest now !

I am told that the shop in St. Peter Port sold out of these bow ties, which were all hand made. Brilliant we thought. I don't think I will be wearing this for the office though.

Mr. M. has surprised me with a visit to see a puppy tomorrow morning. We will just have to see what he/the parents look like - but am quite excited at the thought of having a dog around the house and an excuse for him to accompany me on my blip walks - and to generally have an excuse to get out more for walking in the morning/evening. Fingers crossed.
