The Remains Of The Day

Had a very enjoyable shared lunch after Quaker Meeting this morning. The cake I made on Wednesday seemed to go down well - happily there was some left over to take home! My partner Tony gave a talk after lunch on 'Dickens and Religion'. I'm much too biased to give an impartial judgement on that, except to say that people seemed to enjoy and appreciate it and our 'retiring collection' raised a good sum for the Nepal Disaster Relief fund.
