Day at a Time

Burgeoning

The garden's certainly gone for it in the week we've been away. Grass, flowers and weeds are all growing at a fast pace. I need to get out with the dandelion howker but instead I'm in the kitchen making risotto with one of May's greatest delights - asparagus (not flown half way round the world). It was an unexpectedly busy day after the relaxing week away.

Here's the ornamental hop (the most burgeoning of all plants) with a bluebell.
