Making the most of the good weather

While are still in Tours, not only are we trying to visit as many Chateaux as we possibly can, but also to take the children out to as many parks and gardens as possible.

This one, the Parc Honoré de Balzac, is equipped with a world class kayak descent. Quite impressive, more than it appears on the photo, actually. The park itself is on an island in the middle of the river Cher, and is more than a kilometer long, just south of the town centre. Good for cycling with young children...
