Cool as a ...

I was determined to make a good early start to the vegetable garden this year, and I'm pleased to have a good selection already installed and growing well: runner beans, dwarf French beans, tomatoes, peppers, iceberg and rosso lettuce, cabbages and cucumbers.

They're still really tiny, but already the first little cucumbers are starting to form. As I'm a huge fan of cucumber, I'm really pleased about that. Happily all the effort of nightly watering seems to be paying off. Another dose of sun tomorrow please!
