Look up

Sometimes I forget to look up. I try to always look forward, but too often find myself looking back. Too often also these days I find I'm looking down. At a phone screen, or an ipad, or the screen of a camera.
Today, I was looking around. The kids were burning off energy in a park, after having to sit around for hours in a gym competition waiting for littlest one to do her thing. She did great.
But while they were running around and I was taking pics wondering what my blip might be today, I lay back and looked up, not realising I was sat under this huge tree. 
I think this, as simple as it may be, is my favourite blip of the year so far.
Must remember to look up more often.
