Women in pink

It was Rochester's 'Race for Life' today and as always our road was closed for a short while to allow the runners to go first one way and then the other later.
Lots of pink and dogs and children brought along. The vast majority of people walked the distance rather than ran. Some of my pupils were there too and very cheerful to see me.
It was a good turn out. The little children next door were particularly loving it, standing on the wall with a banner to cheer on their mum, who was in a team made up of mothers of children from their school.
