View from Rippon Vineyard

Back Blip from the Anzac Blipmeet 

We arrived in Wanaka around lunch time from Cromwell. We got settled into the Motel then went and had lunch before heading to Snowys to drop of some plants I had promised her.

After a wonderful walk around Snowys stunnning garden full of spectacular autumn colours we took a drive to Glendhu Bay. I got some really wonderful shots of the wonderful Autumn colours there.

Next stop was Rippon Vineyard where John sampled some their wonderful wines. This shot is of the view you get from their tasting room looking over Lake Wanaka. The little island is Ruby Island and the mountains you see are part of the Southern Alps.
