Towards Mitchell's Fold

Mitchell's Fold is the only decent sized stone circle in Shropshire and the walk to and beyond the circle to Stapeley Hill is one of the most enjoyable in Shropshire as you feel truly on the edge of the World. Having said that there are literally 1000's of brilliant walks in Shropshire. The sky was very dramatic and I wanted to capture it so I gave it my best shot.


Afterwards we went to Bromlow Callow a wonderful stand of trees visible for miles and miles around and used by the Drover's through the centuries, to our delight and surprise they had been encircled in giant flags by a local artist.
