We spend the morning on the beach again before packing up our little hut and getting ready to leave.  We have lunch and play a card game called Wizards with Julia and Thomas ... its a bit like Trumps but with special cards.  Fred loses spectacularly.

There is another storm coming and sea is an amazing green colour this afternoon. After our final swim we head down the beach to grab a shower at the juice bar and Andy joins in with a local cricket match. They stop their music and cheer him on loudly as he bowls and, after a couple of balls, he bowls someone out!

We get ready to go, say our goodbyes and head to the train station to begin our long journey. Andy grabs a quick dinner of string hoppers before getting on the train and shares some of it with this stray dog. The train leaves bang on time at 7.10pm and is due in at Colombo Fort at 5am. We settle into our seats which are actually not too uncomfortable. The guards try to get us into first class, as apparently there is room in the sleepers, but we decide we don't want to pay the extra now and will just settle for our second class seats. The sleepers didn't look great in the pics we found on the internet anyway. Its actually not too horrendous but there are lots of bugs as the night goes on so we get bitten.
