Big day! Whale and dolpin spotting.

The boat trips are run from a little harbour at Los Gigantes on the west coast of Tenerife. The various trip boats know just where to go to find the whales and dolphins. The whales were happy to bob around on the surface to be blipped, but I couldn't persuade the dolphins to do the same.

For anyone who hasn't been the Gigantes are tall volcanic cliffs - but strangely not photogenic.
