Rockary on the way home
I always walk past this rockery and today I thought I would go in and see what it is about and perhaps take a nice picture. Instead though I saw the stone, a memorial to Hugh MacDairmid. He seems to be an interesting sort of poet: "In 1928, MacDiarmid helped found the National Party of Scotland. He was also a member of the Communist Party of Great Britain. During the 1930s, he was expelled from the former for being a communist and from the latter for being a nationalist."
I will have come home drunk one day and stare at a thistle on his behalf.
