To the right of me as I took this photo is the entrance to The Joint Services Yacht Club belonging to the Ministry of Defence. As I set up my tripod a jumped up jobsworth of a man suddenly appeared and challenged me, basically warning me that if I was still there in five minutes he was calling the police because I was taking photos outside an MoD establishment.
The photo, as you can see, is hardly detrimental to National security and would have welcomed the police being called, well I had to show somebody just what a good shot it was. The blurred light you see in the background was a Britanny cross channel ferry arriving.
