How My Garden Grows

The flower seeds are sprouting, the rhododendron is in, the fig trees are trimmed after another bout with winter's ice.  My young oak is what pleases me most, here in front of the house

In about a month, these beds will be overflowing with tall wildflowers --that's an American term, meaning a mixture of species that might occur in a natural meadow and do well together.  We by such mixtures in stores.
