Promenading

I took a trip to Brecon today, a quiet little town at the edge of the impressive Brecon Beacons mountain range. Oh yeah and also famous for its Jazz Festival, although I'm not sure it still runs now after some financial difficulties in previous years.

Anyways we walked along the Promenade, a very peaceful and tranquil part on the outskirts. Just walking and listening to the wonder of nature's choir, as the birds sang their merry tunes. Wonderful!

The shot is from the promenade looking over the Golf course, and in the distance you can see Penyfan, the highest peak in the range. I will conquer that on the 23rd June! Despite what you might think from the shot, it was actually a glorious afternoon.
