Between doing the laundry and defrosting the freezer I squeezed in a walk to the lake. It was cold and dull and, not surprisingly, very quiet. Few photo opportunities and this is the best of a bad bunch. It was a very boring colour shot and after playing with mono settings is now only slightly improved. 

Had I waited until later, all the runners doing the  Windermere marathon would have passed by but I didn’t  think of that until I arrived and saw the signs.
