MonoMonday 68: Day of the Triffids
Just about everything happening today - a brisk north westerly wind, bright sunshine and torrential downpours. We've been into Schull to deliver books and get tickets for the Short Film Festival that's taking place from wednesday onwards. This amazing event has over 25 different programmes which are screened in all sorts of unlikely places from pubs to cafes to shops - or even your laptop or smart phone! The book shop is being turned into a cinema where you can lie down on cushions, have a cuppa and watch the film on the ceiling! The most innovative cinema must be someone's converted bedroom on Long Island. Tickest include the ferry trip, free beer and popcorn!
Sorry to those who have already commented but I've changed my pic for the MonoMonday challenge - Day of the Triffids, hosted by Dollykgrey. The gunnera is seriously on the move, having been severely frosted a couple of weeks ago it has come back with a vengeance. Small children and chicken sheds have been know to disappear in these plants entirely!
Son#1 is arriving for a few days tomorrow so backblips will be in order. Catch you soon.
