We felt sorry for this little bird, an Eurasian nuthatch. When we went out of our house this morning the nuthatch was sitting like this on the ground, probably it had flown against the window. I gave him/her some peanut butter (specially for birds) and let him/her for himself/herself for a while. I could come very close to the bird with my camera and took a lot of pictures. I also arranged it was impossible for our cats to come out.
After a while I thought the bird was moving a bit more with his/her head and a little bit later he/she flew away! We hope the nuthatch survived!!
