Sheltering from the rain

A wet day today so I caught up with some paperwork and then escaped for a bit of retail therapy and coffee with friends.  Popped in the garden briefly to take a photo of this flower seemingly cowering from the rain beneath some leaves.

Where rain is concerned, I agree with Dolly Parton who said 'The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.'
