Miserable Monday

Well the weather was miserable first thing but it had dried up by lunchtime so I could get out and get a few miles in. These are the gardens at Reed Hall on campus, looking rather lovely.

We then had a nice spell of sunshine followed by yet more rain on the way home.

Leo and Ian have found another video game to keep them busy - Disney Infinity - which seems to involve them becoming superheroes and bashing everything up. It makes a change from minecraft but I am not sure how long they will stick with it as they spent lots of it arguing as they kept bashing each other or the civilians instead of the enemy!

Dad is away on a Bowls Tour so Mum should be in for a quiet week - well as quiet as it ever can be with Leo around. She is busy knitting away madly in order to create some more bowls themed tea cosies! Shamefully, I am still to finish the pair of gloves I started about 4 months ago - maybe they will be ready for next winter?
