Brewing up

It's like a scene from Last of the Summer Wine. Three blokes standing with mugs of tea watching water drain slowly from a tea urn on a little tower thing, into a cool box full of soaked grains and out of that drains dark, sugary water. The only sound is the occasional slurp of tea and approving grunts as one of the three catches a whiff of the malty liquor slowly filling the bucket on the floor. Then they move on to boiling up the liquid, with added hops. Still supping tea and grunting.

Still, a grand way to spend an afternoon in Andy's garage while the weans amused themselves in the house.  Then home to plot some brewing of my own. One of the many tasks to be accomplished in my week off.
