Democracy

It's local election time here.  Posters proliferate everywhere, vans patrol the streets urging voters through loudspeakers to vote this way or that.  This charming chap smiles down at us from lamp-posts and walls and hoardings no matter where we go.  I keep wondering if ASM stands for "A Silly Man", or "A Stupid Monkey" or "Assistant Stage Manager" or numerous other possibilities that I won't elucidate on here.  You might have some ideas of your own!
