Monday: Ilica In The Evening

Not much to report from work, other than that it remains busy......

This evening, I quickly popped into town to meet Maja, from whom we have rented an apartment in Rovinj a couple of times.  Last time we were there, K. left a book behind she was reading ('The Goldfinch' by Donna Tartt).  Maja kindly brought it back for us but also took the opportunity to read it herself first - she offered to just tell us how it ended instead.

Anyway, we had a lovely hour, just chatting about all sorts.  Her husband, whom we met in Rovinj, was the guitarist in a leading Yugoslav punk band called 'Film' and now plays in another famous Croatian punk pop band called 'Psihomondo Pop'.  I thought that was pretty interesting.

Still to shy to ask Maja for a photo, though........maybe next time, as we both agreed we should do this again.
