Sun and rain
After a morning of heavy rain it was good to get a breath of sea air and see the sparkling sea although the distant dark cloud over Edinburgh poured down shortly after. I had wanted to see how the demolition of the power station was progressing and then had to dodge the waves lashing at high tide across the footpath as I walked from Cockenzie to the harbour at Port Seton. It was very busy there with men working on several of the fishing boats and here one of the boats is maneuvering back into the harbour with the Cockenzie Power Station chimneys still standing behind. I wonder how much longer they will be a landmark for the returning boats.
