Beware the Gruffalo

After a leisurely brunch we all headed to Whinlatter Forest Park near Keswick. One group did a short walk near the visitor centre before heading to a pub to watch football. Another group made it to this Gruffalo where we stopped for a group photo before going back down the hill. The rest of us continued up the hill, the weather had closed in so the view at the top was not as spectacular as it could have been but worth the climb anyway.

Another enjoyable evening with a Chinese take away for tea. Then we all watched a slide show in the 'cinema room' of lots of family photos which my parents have been converting from slides onto the computer.
