A later awakening this morning after no nap for Euan yesterday. The blackout blind was up and I got til 7.30 even though I was awake now and then overnight with twinges.

Auntie Emily came round about 11 and did some sewing while I finished knitting my jumper. It is now finished except for 6 buttons so I am very pleased.

Euan went for an hours nap so we got all tidied up in peace and I was able to instruct Emily on how to bind a quilt. When he got up from his nap we all played together for a while then Euan played lego and angry birds on Auntie Emilys iphone. He had a good tea of veggie fingers, smiley faces and peas and sweeetcorn, then the leftover (photographed) pear from his lunch.

Aunties Catriona and Diane arrived after a day of work from home and Catriona made the tea of veggie haggis, roast potatoes, roast parsnips with maple syrup, bread sauce and carrot and onions. I was still starving after, even though I ate lots so sent Diane and Emily to Asda for milk and cakes!

Told Catriona while they were away about my period like pains that I have been having sporadicaly throughout the day, but have only just decided at 7pm that they are most definately contractions! Not regular, or very painful yet so hopefully get some sleep tonight. Catriona is being very calm about it all so far!

Have let Martin know, he phoned earlier today to say that he was going into port on wednesday and that he hadn't liked to say before but the helicopter transfer due on wednesday was unlikely to happen due to weather, so just as well they are coming into port!

Well, don't think it will be a late night now, I will be off to bed to try sleep before what I think might be a busy day tomorrow! Too bad my sweepstake date was today!
