Mono Monday - The Day of the Triffids

I think today is my blip-day!  I usually get so stressed about these milestones - I was really happy to have a mono monday challenge to direct me.

That being said - I have never heard of this movie in my life before yesterday.  However, in reading the Wiki page - it says that a Biologist created a carnivorous plant.  

This is the flower of my carnivorous plant.  It is a pitcher plant - so it doesn't walk and talk - but it does eat ants and other bugs.
