White iris

I like lots of flowers but Irises are my favorite. And, as readers of this journal may know, I especially like white flowers. So, there you have it.

We started digging more of the trench today and it was proving to be a terrible job. Too many thick tree roots. Joel finally (and sensibly) pulled the plug on the whole project and is opting for a propane-fueled furnace instead. My back is very grateful.
