Wound up in Wexford

Grey skies

It was raining hard all morning, so rather than play with my new toy, I spent it surmounting the ironing mountain.  It was still raining when I went to work.

I spent the afternoon in the office, then down to the coal face at 5pm.  I went to work in the new Minor Injuries area, which despite my scepticism did actually open on schedule.  It was my first shift there.  Lovely spacious work area, but strangely divorced from the hurly burly of the main department.  We have been commenting on how slowly the people there seem to work, and I can understand why - you just don't feel the pressure.

Another advantage of working there is the opportunity to go outside whilst visiting the main area.  By the time I took this, it had stopped raining, but the appearance of the sky suggested "not for long".  In fact, it didn't rain again, and by the time I was leaving there was quite a colourful sunset.
