Toads'-eye view

These toadstools come up each spring.  They thrive
on the underground root system of a former
three-trunked birch tree that we had removed
years ago because it was leaning toward our
roof.  I still have its trunk segments here and
there in my gardens...

The answer to yesterday's visual puzzle is an
old cement birdbath with its collection of
apple blossom petals floating amidst the water
surface.  The birds still come to visit....They
are not fooled by an altered surface nor were
most of my blip friends.  Congratulations folks
for all your good guesses.

We are having a frost warning for tonight.....Oh, no!!
but I have tender plants growing outdoors.  There
were up to two feet of snow in some areas of
Colorado yesterday, and that weather is coming our way.
Hmmmm!
