Weather

We are home from Mablethorpe!  I drove the first part of the journey through beautiful windy roads of Lincolnshire and then motorway to the Doncaster North services.  We left Mablethorpe bathed in sunlight.  The verges on either side of the ditches, beautiful with yellow rape and white flowers.  The roadside full of Hawthorn in full blossom and horse chestnuts adorned with their candle like blooms!

Then we spotted the weather ahead!  Huge black clouds emptying themselves over the countryside! Above is taken on the M180  by Ro.  When we arrived at the services it had just stopped raining and stayed that way till we were back in the car eating our sandwiches! Ro then took over and told me I had driven the worst road in the UK for accidents! R
