Woodland Scene

Firstly, apologies in advance. I am not going to be able to do much commenting today. Camera club this evening. Work here at home until then. I was less busy before I retired ! Think I'll have to apply for my old job back.
This morning found me out in the woods experimenting. I have a little compact which is converted to Infra Red but I should be able to get far better quality from a DSLR even without conversion, so off I went this morning to give it yet another go, never having been satisfied with the results in previous shoots. I am no better off after this morning. What you see here was shot with the aid of an IR (720nm) filter and converted to mono using the channel mixer in Photoshop. It doesn't really look like IR at all but it will have to do for today. I have an idea where I'm going wrong but need another bash at it before I launch that filter into orbit.
