Today is world Ibd day

Purple is the awareness raising colour of Ibd. Throughout the country the debilitating diseases of crohn's and colitis are being highlighted. Not all disabilities are visible and sometimes we will look perfectly healthy and "normal". I have experienced rude remarks when using disabled loos and time and time again heard "but you don't look ill."

Landmark buildings around the country are being lit up purple today and there are twitter trends of #worldibdday2015 #purplepower
