Caught up with a couple of lovely friends from Sheffield today - Kate and her daughter Niamh.
B has known Kate since they were teenagers at school together, smoking behind the bike sheds and sharing secrets. I love that they still have a close friensdship after all these years and we have introduced them to our local hangout.

In the great tradition of the British local, a beer festival was in full swing at the Red Lion this bank holiday weekend.
Shame I'm not a beer lover, some of the names are great...
