Glasgow Waterways - Maryhill Locks

This was the final walk along the Glasgow waterways and today we were back on the River Kelvin and the Forth-Clyde canal. These locks are at the point on the canal where it begins to descend to sea level again to reach its end at Bowling on the Clyde, some 8 miles or so away. The curved wall just beyond the locks is the aqueduct over Kelvin.
This has been an interesting series of walks and, despite the less than favourable weather conditions on some of them, very enjoyable.
