The Cut Out Silhouette

A portrait of my Mother.  I remember she said it was made on a visit to the seaside, probably she is in her late teens or early twenties.  

In the nine weeks we had together after she died, Dad and I looked through several photographs, including this portrait.  "That's My Girl"  he said - I'll never forget that. They were happily married for over fifty eight years.  I miss them both very much.
