Blue, and Moist Again

Between visits by trades (see yesterday) we took 'A' out for a drive around the hills, including the Everdine bluebells.  Couldn't match the shot I took when we walked here on the 11th, so here's a closer view.

Later, back home, found that the interim covering on the roof had not entirely stood up to the violent showers and leaked.  Dehumidifier on the go now.  (Actually it's always on the go but usually just ticking over in the basement.  It has to be the most used piece of kit we bought).

There will be much rejoicing when the roof work is complete and we're not living in the half-expectation of extra running water when it rains hard.

Enjoyed another excellent meal at the Thai around the corner tonight.  Quiet, indeed the other table were our current guests, but then I have to remember we have a different weekend to everyone else!
